The Right To Vote

My last post sparked quite bit of discussion on an oblique topic; does a Right to vote exist? The email traffic was also filled with statements that essentially said, “I don’t want any more Conservatives to vote,” and “I don’t want any more Liberals to vote.”
Is there a Right to vote? To fully answer such [...] Read more »

Fannie Mae Five - Five Key Players Who Broke The System

What do Chris Dodd,  Barney Frank, Jim Johnson, Franklin Raines and Tim Howard have in common (besides being engineers on the Barack Obama Election Express)? I try not to just scrape the content of other sites but Mcauleys World has a great article with info that is essential for everyone to know.

Speech Palin Would Have Given

I understand why Hillary did not want to go onstage with Sarah; she did not want to get upstaged by a mere Govenor. But why did the rally organizer’s cancel Palin? This girl is hitting some serious nerves.
The world must awake to the threat this man poses to all of us. Ahmadinejad denies that [...] Read more »

Remembering 9/11

Today we pause to remember the tragic and senseless deaths of 2,996 souls, murdered in a blatant act of terrorism. Families, along with scores of others, gathered at the World Trade Center Memorial site, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania to pay their respects.
It is a day worthy of our remembrance.

Liberals were flummoxed because they had set a standard of success that they expected Bush to fail. Grrrrr. The guns are winning. Bad [...] Read more »

Will Britain Survive Multiculturalism?

When former drug dealer and now born again Christian Paul Ray wrote in his blog that the Muslim drug gangs in his hometown of Luton were “savages,” he was arrested on suspicion of a hate crime.
“It’s ok for the Muslims to do what they’re doing, and no one arrests them, but then if we start [...] Read more »

Torture Lite

Let’s get some things straight. Nobody is a bad as the Nazi’s and Stalinist’s and “engaging in practices pretty close to torture” is not torture. One of the reasons America is politically debilitated is our propensity to use poetry rather than prose in our debates. We are more concerned with winning the argument than [...] Read more »

Cartoonist Must Die

Muslims have revealed that they have a sensitive side. Any cartoon of the Prophet is forbidden and if you draw, print or read one they will have to kill you. They have no trouble killing Nuns, letting girls burn to death or breaking a child’s arm but a cartoon is just over the line.
I am [...] Read more »

Torture and the Geneva Convention

One view we might take would be to faithfully apply the Geneva Convention standards for the treatment of prisoners to countries that have committed to treat American prisoners by the Geneva standard. This would leave the terrorists ‘out in the cold’ so to speak.

Those poor, poor terrorists - By Bill Murchison
We are in a war. The terrorists are enemy combatants. Let’s stop the whining about what rights the bad guys have.
